(You will need an extra programmer, such as another PICkit 2 or an ICD2, this extra programmer will be used to download the hex file into the chip) For the convenient of customers who doesn't have a programming tools/capability, Au Group Electronics does provide a pre-programmed PIC18F2550 chipset (Part #: PPIC18F2550) and a Combo DIY kit (Part #: Combo0703-PP) with pre-programmed PIC18F2550. Note: The .hex file name may be different depends on the version of MPLAB IDE or the version of PICkit 2 programmer which is installed on the computer.
